Terms of Service

Last updated September 29, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and TribuTunes. We've kept them short and readable. The most important part: your music and your words stay yours.

The agreement

TribuTunes is operated by TribuTunes LLC, a California limited liability company ("we"). By creating an account or using TribuTunes you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use TribuTunes for a band, label or team, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for them.

Private preview

TribuTunes is in a private preview. Features are being built and may change, pause or be removed, and some parts are marked as coming later. We'll do our best to keep your work safe through every change.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use TribuTunes. Use an email address you control: signing in works through that inbox, so keep it secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account and in the workspaces you manage, including who you invite and what access you give them.

Your work stays yours

You keep every right to your lyrics, stories, recordings, images and everything else you bring into TribuTunes. We claim no ownership of it.

To run the service, you give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and display your work: to show it to you and to the collaborators you choose, and to send the necessary parts to the providers that perform the features you ask for. This permission is only for operating TribuTunes, and it ends when you delete the work or your account, apart from the time needed to clear backups.

You confirm that you have the rights to what you upload, and that doing so doesn't break anyone else's rights.

Credits, splits and records

Credits, splits and other song details in TribuTunes are records you keep for yourself and your collaborators. TribuTunes is not a publisher, collecting society, distributor or label, and what you record here does not register or transfer any rights. Nothing in TribuTunes is legal, tax or financial advice.

Suggestions and generated work

Some features draft campaigns, scripts, replies, taglines or cover images for you. They are suggestions: they may be wrong or unsuitable, and they never become facts about you until you accept them. Review anything before you use or publish it; you're responsible for what you choose to publish.

Generated images are created on request from your song's material. Similar images may be generated for other people, so we can't promise exclusivity. You may use the covers you generate for your own music, subject to the terms of the provider that created them.

Connected platforms

When you connect a platform such as YouTube or Instagram, your use of it stays governed by that platform's own terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service. TribuTunes acts on your channels only when you tell it to, for example when you press send on a reply. Platforms can change or limit what they allow apps to do, so some features may change as a result.

Using TribuTunes fairly

Please don't:

  • upload content that's illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • use TribuTunes to harass people, send spam or mislead fans;
  • access other people's workspaces or accounts without permission;
  • copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service, or try to get around its security.

Fees

TribuTunes is free during the private preview. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you in advance, and you'll never be charged without agreeing to it first.

Availability

We work to keep TribuTunes available and your work safe, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose, such as final lyrics and masters.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using TribuTunes and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Data deletion). We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your work.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on TribuTunes infringes your copyright, write to copyright@tributunes.com with: your contact details, the work you own, where the material appears on TribuTunes, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We review every notice, may remove the material, and tell the person who posted it, who can respond.

Liability

TribuTunes is provided as it is during the preview. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, opportunities or data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (during the free preview, that is zero). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change applies. Continuing to use TribuTunes after that means you accept the new terms.
